Mahurangi college rugby has a proud history and strong links to the Mahurangi Rugby Club. The close relationship that the club and college hold is quite unique, not only in North Harbour but around NZ. Together we ensure that even when players and their families transfer from the Junior Club to college rugby, they continue to use the incredible facilities and enjoy the community spirit on offer at what is the heart of Mahurangi Rugby in the district.
There are a range of boys’ and girls’ tackle and Rip (non-contact) rugby teams available for our year 9-13 students. Our Year 7-8 players are included within the North Harbour Junior rugby program and register to play via the club.
College teams welcome non-Mahurangi college students to play in their teams with permission from both the prospective student’s school and North Harbour Rugby. Practices and home games may be held at either college or Warkworth showground (club) fields.
